We are “rolling out” our own line of tp in our characteristic non-traditional style, this time asking people to “Wipe Out Colorectal Cancer” by using TOILET PAPER! The innovative new toilet paper will include the “Wipe Out Colorectal Cancer” message as well as facts and information about colorectal cancer. It is available in travel size rolls with printed labels and standard size rolls with the message printed directly on the paper.

 

We first had this idea several years ago and decided to unveil it in 2007 after teaming up with Ohio Valley Colon & Rectal Surgeons in Evansville, IN. We found out that they had been handing out TP wrapped with a similar message, and so we decided to work together on this project! We announced it at their Colossal Colon^® event in Evansville on March 9, 2007.

 

Wipe Out Colorectal Cancer is dedicated to Mount Vernon, IN native Paula Ries.  Paula, now 31, was diagnosed last year with stage III colon cancer, is currently fighting a recurrence to her pancreas and was recently chosen as a model for the 2008 Colondar^SM.
