The Colon Cancer Alliance (CCA) is a national patient advocacy organization dedicated to ending the suffering caused by colorectal cancer. The Figg Tree Foundation was originally founded to help Tammy and Bryan Figg when Tammy was diagnosed with stage III rectal cancer six weeks before their wedding. They now concentrate on community education and patient support.

National Colorectal Cancer Research Alliance

The National Colorectal Cancer Research Alliance, a program of the Entertainment Industry Foundation, is dedicated to the eradiation of colorectal cancer by promoting the importance of early medical screening and funding research to develop better tests, and ultimately a cure.  NCCRA was founded by Katie Couric, cancer activist Lilly Tartikoff, and the Entertainment Endustry Foundation, and issues an annual Legislation Report Card detailing state legislation that applies to colorectal cancer screening.
